Smoke Free Bulgaria Initiative was established spontaneously in February 2010 when deputies from the ruling party suggested a repealing of the Total Smoking Ban in public places. The goals of the initiative are: to support the Total Smoking Ban in public places and to make sure there is a strict control over the laws responsible for limiting of tobacco smoking in Bulgaria. From 2012 Smoke Free Bulgaria is registered as an association under the Non-profit Legal Entities Act.

BlueLink is a foundation, registered in public interest in Bulgaria to uphold civil society, democracy, shared European values and environmental sustainability. BlueLink strives to its purpose by supporting internet networking, public interest journalism, policy advocacy and research.
BlueLink's main fields of activity are in:
- maintaining the BlueLink Civic Action Network - a networking, coordination and information exchange hub at www.bluelink.net;
- supporting civil society participation, access to information and justice, and stakeholder engagement through strategic use of internet and other activities;
operating a virtual newsroom to publish Evromegdan (in Bulgarian) and BlueLink Stories (in English, for Central and Eastern Europe) as e-magazines for ethical journalism in public interest; and - fostering research and analysis of internet freedom, technological and social change, civil society, democracy and sustainable development, and shaping policies that foster them.
A pioneers civil society e-network, launched in Bulgaria in 1998, today BlueLink is a well established hub of coordination, exchange of information and information technology innovation among environmental civil society organisations (CSOs) and groups. Some of Bulgaria’s most active and reputable environmental groups are among BlueLink’s founders. International organisations, such as the Aarhus Convention Secretariat at UNECE and the Regional Environmental Center for CEE, state authorities, such as the Ministry of Environment and Waters and the Forestry Agency, municipalities and countless NGOs have partnered with BlueLink.
BlueLink operates from Bulgaria across Central and Eastern Europe, the EU, South Eastern Europe, the former USSR, and globally as a member of the Association for Progressive Communications. It is also a member of other coalitions, platforms and initiatives across Europe and Bulgaria.

Association Roditeli (Parents Association) is established in 2001 as a non-government, non-profit organization of public benefit under the Bulgarian law for organizations with non-profit purposes.

We achieve our goals though:
Development, implementation and dissemination of regional and national policies for:
- Promoting family values among children.
- Building positive attitude towards volunteering and charity.
- Raising ecological awareness and respect for the natural environment among children.
- Promoting grassroots sports and art activities for children.
- Supporting the development of effective child healthcare and promoting the child’s rights as a patient and the prevention of childhood diseases.
- Prevention of all forms of violence against children.
- Fighting pornography, gambling and delinquency among children.
- Supporting gifted children.
Protecting the child rights, stipulated in the Convention on the Rights of the Child:
- Promoting of social and legal principles, concerning child protection and welfare.
- Validation of social values among parents and encouraging continuity in values between parents and children.
- Providing general and specialized assistance to parents in the process of raising their children.
- Supporting parents in crisis for reintegration into society, restoring parental rights and formation of a correct attitude on the issue of raising and educating children;
- Supporting single parents.
- Supporting families with three or more children.
- Implementation of parental control over public education and social control over institutions for children.
- Promoting the right of the parents of informed decision – choices in the best interest of the child.
The Association of medical students in Bulgaria (shortly AMSB) is an independent, non-government, non-profit organization, representing young people studying in medical universities across Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Stara Zagora and Pleven. Over 2000 students led by the idea that ‘the love of medicine brings us together’. Over 2000 medics inspired by AMSB’s initiatives. Medical students have won the praise of the Bulgarian Medical Union and are full members of the National Youth Forum. Therefore, they organize projects focused on educating the population on health-related issues, prophylactic measures and prevention of diseases. Enhancing their professional qualifications and social status, organizing international scientific and professional exchanges, conferences, lectures, participation in multiple scientific projects, protection of student rights – these are one of the many activities medics carry out, as part of the Medical Education Committee (SCOME), The Committee of Reproductive Health and AIDS (SCORA), the Human Rights and Peace Committee (SCORP), The Public Health Committee (SCOPH), The Scientific Exchange Committee (SCORE) and the Committee of professional exchange (SCOPE).

The Association for prevention and work with addictions "ONLY TODAY" was established as an informal union of people with substance dependence who managed to find a way back to normal life. It was founded in 2008 to inform and help people with addictions to get to a proper treatment, as well as to support their relatives. The main goals of "ONLY TODAY" are to raise public awareness about the problems of addictions through seminars, information campaigns, creation of centers for treatment consultation and training of addicts. The Association works with specialists in addictions as well as recovering addicts who have been trained as consultants.
